Way Excited

The kids and I are very excited for our summer trip.  Today I picked up the fabric for Alex's swimsuit cover.  There are lots of orange choices this year, but we loved the owls.

Alex is so excited that tonight she got her puppy ready for the trip, she dressed her and packed a bag.  I don't want to have to tell her how far away summer is.

Another Wedding Dance

When Mike was about seven he was in my cousin Ricks wedding.

The Groomsmen had bought Mike a bunch of jerky, candy, and gum, on the ride to the reception.

Mike terrified us when he blew this big bubble during the wedding party dance.  I was so scared that he would get it in Shelbys hair.

New Look

A first in many many years, I took some time for myself and had my hair done.  I'm loving it so far, I feel a little like I use to.  It's been about five years since I've been blond.

A Blast From the Past is Back

The kids and I have been waiting for years!!  We will be there!

A wish come true!

I love when, as a parent, you can make a wish come true!

One of the writings in Alex's packet from parent teacher conferences mentioned that she wished for orange jeans.  She wrote "I have lots of orange shirts but no orange jeans".  Well LUCKY for this Mommy that neon colors are big this year and Old Navy was clearancing out their colored jeans.  I love when I can make a wish come true and it's even better when I can do it for $6.
