Finally Done!

It's finally done!!

It took a long time to finish but raising three kids on my own doesn't give me much time for anything other then kids and work.

Parade Time

Mike on the Sheyene High School Pep Band float for the West Fest Parade this year.

Now life needs to be written as it happens so that all know what is going on. Sadly the parade was on my weekend to work. (I work the weekends Jerry is to have the kids)  So I wouldn't be able to make it, then Jerry had drill like always and cancelled on the kids.  So of course it was up to me the Mom to make sure everything worked out.  It took lots of phone calls and pleading on facebook but it worked out in the end.  Racquel took Mike to the school Sat. morning so he could decorate the float and practice.  Jill and Jason picked up the girls so they could attend that parade and see their brother so that some of his family would be there.  Jill and Jason also picked him up from school and brought him home when everything was done and cleaned up.  Amy got me a picture of my son in the parade!  I am very lucky to have so many great friends!  All MY hard work paid off, and what did Jerry do you may ask, well he went to drill.  I think it is time for my kids to see the lengths that I go to for them.

Bunny Roast!!

We saved some PEEPS special to roast this summer at one of Papas FAMOUS FIRES!

Bubblers

The girls got bubble wands when we were at the cabin.  What kid doesn't love bubbles?

Hens

While pulling away from the cabin my Dad spotted these hens in the neighbors yard.

We later found out that she feeds them in the winter when food is hard to find.

There is always wildlife at the cabin.



Gardens are Yummy!

Bre with the tomatoes she caught. (Papa tossed them over the fence to her)

The tomato plants are so heavy with green tomatoes that they are pulling the cages down.

All the Zucchini and Squash they sent home with us. I shredded two of them and it made five two cup bags for the freezer.  (Thanks for helping me Racquel)

Another Larger then Life!

After our visit with Great Grandma we made one last stop.  The geographical center of North Dakota!  Crazy that all these years this was just a few small miles away from the cabin.  I was happy that we were able to squeeze in one larger then life item to add to our collection of many.

How fitting that the one we love so much lives in the town with the huge heart!
